Ken North - Firefighter

I learned a lot about firefighters that I didn't know before. They don't save cats from trees, and they're the first ones at the scene if someone calls 911 because of a life or death situation. I didn't know that before, I always thought it was the ambulance that was supposed to come first. Also, in kitchener there are only 6 female firefighters in all. I thought thar number was shockingly small. It seems like it would be an awesome career, but also very dangerous. It's dangerous because you'd have to deal with fires, and also because the risk of getting cancer increases.
