Photographer

I think being a photographer would definitely be my dream job. I love to take pictures. I would want to be a free lance photographer because I would get to choose what I'm doing more thanif I worked for a magazine or newspaper. But either way I think I would love it because I really like taking pictures.

Sidney Mclean - Crown Attorney

Being a crown attorney would be a very intersting job. It would also be very scary because they deal with the worst criminals. When Sidney Mclean came into our class she said that it was a very emotionally exhausting job. I think it would be interesting.

Ann Liebau - Midwife

I think you would really need to have a strong stomach to be a midwife. A midwife is someone that helps with home births. Being a midwife would also seem like a rewarding job because they create a bond with the mother before she gives birth. They also help her afterwards. I think it would be an amazing job.

Melissa Durrell - City Councillor

I think being a city councillor would be a lot of work. When Melissa Durrell came into our class she talked about how she had to go door to door collecting money when she first became a councillor. I don't think it would really be a job I'd be interested in though.

Ken North - Firefighter

I learned a lot about firefighters that I didn't know before. They don't save cats from trees, and they're the first ones at the scene if someone calls 911 because of a life or death situation. I didn't know that before, I always thought it was the ambulance that was supposed to come first. Also, in kitchener there are only 6 female firefighters in all. I thought thar number was shockingly small. It seems like it would be an awesome career, but also very dangerous. It's dangerous because you'd have to deal with fires, and also because the risk of getting cancer increases.

Love

I don't believe that there's a difference in the way men and women love. I think the difference is in the way each individual person loves. Love is based on mutual trust and the personality of the person you're with. So if someone trusts very easily but the person they like or love is more cautious with trusting people it could end badly. For example, if the trusting person says I love you the person that doesn't trust easily might not be at that stage yet. The trusting person would be hurt because the other person doesn't love them.
Trust is based on your own personal experiences. If someone trusts people but then they constantly let them down eventually they won't let themselves trust people that easily. And without trust their love life probably won't go too well either.
That's why I don't think men and women love differently.

My Vote

If I were able to vote I would vote for NDP. I would vote for them because I like what they plan on doing. For example, they want to hire more doctors and nurses, cut oil-sands subsidies, and cap credit-card rates. I think these are all good things and that's why I would vote for NDP.
